About us

The gebo research association employs scientists and technical staff of different research institutes and universities of Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony). For a successful realization of the research projects the coordination with regard to content and time is essential. This is the task of the speaker of the association, Prof. Dr. Kurt M. Reinicke and his representative Prof. Dr. Georg-Peter Ostermeyer.

The four research area coordinators are:

 

• Dr. Rüdiger Thomas: research area "Geosystem"

• Dr. Catalin Teodoriu: research area "Drilling Technology"

• Prof. Dr. Georg-Peter Ostermeyer: research area "Materials"

• Prof. Dr. Ludger Overmeyer: research area "Technical Systems"

 

The cooperation of the four research areas and participating industry is assured by a steering committee consisting of the research area coordinators, the speakers of the association and representatives of the participating industry.

 

The steering committee is supported by the advisory board which deals with scientific, financial and energy policy goals.

 

Speakers and steering committee are supported by an administrative office at the Energie-Forschungszentrum Niedersachsen in Goslar.
